Vaani Kapoor To Dance On Her Chartbusters As She Prepares For Her Maiden US Tour, Says ‘It Seems So Surreal’
Vaani Kapoor, 34, known for Shamshera, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, Befikre, Bell Bottom, War, made her film debut with the romantic comedy Shuddh Desi Romance released in 2013. She has received awards like IIFA Award for Star Debut of the Year – Female, Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.
The latest bollywood news is that Vaani is going to the US as she will commence her maiden multi-city tour. She will perform for audiences on her hits at prominent venues in Atlanta, Dallas and New Jersey. She is believed to have tweaked and rehearsed her moves for her famous Fitoor (Shamshera), Ghungroo (War), Nashe si chadh gayi (Befikre), Sakhiyaan (Bell Bottom).
“As an actor, one always looks forward to doing such tours because I have been fascinated by how some of the biggest stars of our country have enthralled audiences at packed venues in several cities,” Mid-day quoted Vaani as saying. She considers herself lucky to be a part of some successful films in her career.
She added, “The Hindi film industry is hugely loved by people across the globe. Our songs and dances, which are intrinsic to our culture and unique to our films, have a massive fan-following. It seems so surreal. I’m still pinching myself that I have, as an actor, got the opportunity to entertain people across the world!”
