Fans were waiting for Shah Rukh Khan to come and make FIFA final even more bigger and special with promotion of Pathaan. And that’s what happened as telecast for final started with Shah Rukh Khan joining football great Wayne Rooney where they exchanged thoughts on football and Bollywood films.
Shah Rukh went on to explain about Pathaan as tough guy whom you can count in tough times and a GOAT – greatest of all time. Shah Rukh also did his signature pose and attributed jokingly to Wayne Rooney’s celebration style.
Shah Rukh and YRF are trying best to encash big events and platforms to promote film without indulging in any media and cliche promotion strategy.
Film is already red hot due to teaser followed by controversy around Besharam Rang song over costume of Deepika Padukone. Next song of Arijit Singh will release next week and trailer will be out in first week of January as film will release over Republic Day holiday.
