Kareena Kapoor Praises The White Lotus Season 2; Tells Zoya Akhtar To Recreate Something Like This!
Kareena Kapoor Khan was blown over by the season 2 of ‘White Lotus’ and reviewed it by giving the Title of ‘genius’. She also made a request to Zoya Akhtar that “they can do this too.” She expressed that the similar thing can be done by them, Kareena and her director-friend Zoya Akhtar, also.
Taking to Instagram Stories, Kareena wrote, “White Lotus Season 2 One word Genius (red heart emoji). We can do this too…Zoya Akhtar @zoieakhtar Are you listening? (red heart emoji).”
Zoya reacted to her request by re-sharing Kareena’s story on her Instagram Stories and wrote, “Can’t wait @kareenakapoorkhan(red heart emoji). I hear you loud and clear (red heart emoji).”
The White Lotus’, which returned with its second season after its critically-acclaimed season one, premiered from October 30 this year and the last episode aired on December 11.
The film which also stars F Murray Abraham, Michael Imperioli, Will Sharpe, Theo James, Meghann Fahy, Adam DiMarco, Tom Hollander, Haley Lu Richardson, and Jennifer Coolidge earned three Golden Globe nominations this year.
On the work front, Kareena is busy shooting her next thriller film which marks her debut as a producer while Zoya, on the other hand, is gearing up for the release of her film ‘The Archies’.
