Directed by Ashwin Saravanan and produced by Vignesh Shivan under Rowdy Pictures, Connect stars Nayanthara, Sathyaraj, Anupam Kher, Vinay Rai and Haniya Nafisa. The 1 hour 35 min film will be released on December 22, 2022. The drama genre doesn’t seem to have an intermission.
While sharing the Connect Trailer, Janhvi said, “Can’t wait for this!!! @Wikkiofficial looks too good! Vignesh reposted Janhvi’s complement and stated, “Thank you Jhanvi. Means alot. Glad you liked it.”
“I read somewhere that she had said something positive and very sweet about the trailer and me. So, I asked for her number and I messaged her and said, ‘Thank you so much, it means a lot to me. Your kind words have made my day,” Pinkvilla quoted Janhvi as saying.
She said, “And she actually replied which was very exciting to me. She said, ‘Best of luck. I am rooting for you. I am proud of you for doing such work so early in your career.’ I was like that’s a big one, that’s a huge one. I was just so excited that she replied.”
Meanwhile, Janhvi will next star in Nitesh Tiwari directorial Bawaal starring Varun Dhawan. On the other hand, Nayanthara will make her pan India debut with director Atlee’s Jawan starring Shah Rukh Khan.
