Anushka Sharma Slams Puma For Using Her Photo Without Permission, Says ‘I’m Not Your Ambassador’

Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma slammed athleisure brand ‘Puma’ on Monday, for featuring her in one of their social media campaigns without permission.
She took to her Instagram Story and posted a picture of herself along with a caption slamming the popular sports apparel brand for using her images to promote their products. She wrote, “Hey Puma India, I am sure you know that you have to take permission before you can use my imagery for publicity since I am not your brand ambassador. Please take it down.”
The brand, which counts Kareena Kapoor Khan among its brand ambassadors, shared a series of pictures of Anushka sporting the brand’s apparel on their social media accounts.
Those pictures were shared by Anushka herself in June, 2020. In the sun-kissed picture, she was seen flaunting her abs in a yellow-green coloured sports bra and black leggings. The brand re-shared the picture for promoting their end of season sale.
On the work front, Anushka was recently seen doing a cameo in ‘Qala’ which became a huge talking point after the release as makers had kept it as a secret. She will be soon essaying the role of the iconic Indian pace bowler Jhulan Goswami in the film Chakda Xpress.
