As Adivi Sesh’s ‘Hit: The Second Case’ is going to be released in Hindi, the actor talked about Nepotism in the Telugu Film Industry. The film got a massive response among the Telugu audience and now it is all set to hit the theaters on December 30, 2022 among Hindi audiences.
He said that outsiders don’t get many opportunities to even audition for the lead roles due to Nepotism. In a roundtable discussion as per Bollywood Hungama, he said, “Last six films I have released, four of them were written by me, in collaboration with the director. For the unversed, Adivi Sesh has received a lot of appreciation for his biopic on Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan titled Major. And now he is ready with Sailesh Kolanu’s HIT: The Second Case which will be distributed by Grandmaster and B4U all across the country.
Talking about the reason behind why he started co-writing his own films, the actor said that there is no culture of auditions there as most of the significant parts are already taken by people who come from film families.
He further said, “One thing is we don’t have an auditioning culture. Agar karein bhi toh lead roles ke liye ya important roles ke liye nahi hota. Fourth friend ke role ke liye tum audition kar sakte ho but you can’t audition for a lead role, usually it’s booked (The auditions don’t happen for lead roles. It is usually done for the fourth friend but you can’t audition for a lead role, usually it’s booked).”
